Senior Guest Services Manager

Join the Leadership Team at Forty 1° North, Newport`s LEED Certified waterfront hotel and marina with exciting restaurants, chic lounges, beautifully appointed lodgings and extraordinary service.

Responsible for the coordination of reception, valet services, hotel operations and housekeeping, the Senior Manager of Guest Services encourages guest and staff loyalty by providing an engaging, dynamic, glamorous yet hip and casual experience for all hotel guests and staff.  They are expected to be an ambassador of the property, guest advocate, gracious host and employee cheerleader within the property and the local community. The Sr. Guest Services Manager ensures staff provide courteous and professional services, increase guest satisfaction and maintain revenue and budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high.

A college degree or equivalent in business, hospitality, or related field is preferred. Five plus years’ experience in a management position in an upscale or lifestyle brand hotel and a passion for gracious, friendly, and fun customer service is required.

Overnight Guest Services Associate (Part or Full-time)

Over night guest services associate is a combination of concierge, front desk agent and office administrator. Take a deeper look into hotel operations, systems and procedures while working closely with the Operations Director to ensure guest satisfaction. Hotel front desk experience preferred. Excel spreadsheet management and inventory controls are a plus. Associates degree required.

Restaurant Supervisor

Understanding of the restaurant service and financials of the day to day functions. Maintaining a friendly yet professional relationship with guests. Understanding and taking care of staff needs during service and scheduling.

Required Work Experience: At least one year of leadership experience with either bartending or serving both would be preferred.

Guest Services 

The guest service agents are responsible for ensuring the operation of the front desk in an attentive, friendly, efficient and courteous manner, providing all guests with quality service and outstanding product prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing the guest experience.
